Seasonal Canine Illness

One or two gundog owners this season have reported their dogs getting ill after working in woodland. The experience is not widespread, nor common, but people with dogs should be aware. ' Seasonal Canine Illness ' (known to vets as SCI), was first noted in the UK in about 2010. Little is known about it but it tends to occur in Autumn (August to November) and results in the dog becoming ill very quickly after being in woodland.
