Two-week national firearms amnesty begins today

All police forces in England are taking part in a firearms amnesty between 12th and 29th May. If you are in possession of any sort of firearm which either you do not want, or is perhaps held unlawfully, you may hand it in without fear of prosecution to your local police. 

Some police forces are nominating police stations that the guns should be taken to or, if you are reluctant to take the gun to a police station, collection can be arranged. Look on your local police website or give them a ring 101 for further details.
