Defra has published a new version of GL33, the General Licence that includes conditions for trapping birds and the use of decoys. This General Licence is to be used in England from 1 January 2021. You can view it here.

Final versions of the main General Licences due to be used in England from 1 January 2021 have still not been published by Defra. These are: GL40 - conservation; GL41 - public health; and GL42 - prevention of serious damage.

There are now only 11 working days left until the new licences supposedly come into force. As ever, the NGO will issue advice to members as soon as we receive final details of these remaining licences.
